Go Private on Instagram

Private on Instagram. By posting IG stories, which are full-screen photos and videos that expire after 24 hours, you may share brief moments with your followers. You may add them to your Hide From Story list if you don’t want anybody to view your tales from Instagram.

Here is how your Instagram story may get hidden.

How the stories are hidden

When you hide stories from supporters, none of them can see. But, you can still see your normal posts in your home feed, read your profile and engage with you. You will only be unable to see your tales feed into their stories or your profile. It may be better to block or delete them as a follower.

Hiding Instagram Stories Extra tips

Please note that from your articles you may only conceal existing followers – not just anybody. If you notice others who don’t follow you to read your stories too, it sets your Instagram profile for publication, you might consider private your Instagram profile.

You may also notice that your story appears at the top of the counter on a location or hashtag page. Tap the X on the right side of the location or hashtag page to avoid showing here.

Finally, you should be considering using Instagram’s Close Friends option to share specific stories with a smaller number of individuals.
